Tooth extraction aftercare

Keep the gauze at the extraction place for 30-45 min.

Do not move the gauze, try to speak less.

Do not spit, because bleeding can appear.

Do not eat or drink for 2-4 hours.

You can eat only soft food, at room temperature, on the other side.

In that day, do not rinse your mouth and do not brush your teeth!

In that day, do not smoke or drink alcohol!

Do not put anything in the extraction place.

After 1-2 hours, you can take a pill for pain, as your dentist prescribed.

A small bleeding is normal in the first day. If it bleeds more, apply a gauze on the extraction site and bite firm for 30 -45 min.

In the morning, you may have some blood in the mouth. Stay calm, this is normal. Rinse slow and spit.

If the bleeding doesn’t stop, contact your dentist.

You can resume brushing the next day, but avoid that site for 3-4 days.

The extraction site will heal in 3-4 weeks.
